What do I have to do to be a Tipster?
First, create your account with TipMine or if you have an account, simply login. Then add your tip. By leaving a tip, you are officially a Tipster.

A tip is anything that you feel will help someone else. A tip can be in written form, video form or even just a picture.
What makes a great tip?
Any tip—whether text or video—is best if it is clearly written or spoken—and not too long. An attention-grabbing headline that describes your tip is key, too.
How can I add a tip?
What does Source Web Address mean?
If the tip you are adding is originally from another website, blog, etc. then please provide that URL. The source URL is the website address that you see in your browser. Including this information will allow anyone who reads your tip to find out more about the content source. This is a great way to promote your blog or company website.
What is a TipCollection?
A TipCollection is a place where you can organize your favorite tips into groups. You can customize your TipCollection by deciding what to name each one.
Can I have more than one collection?
Yes, we all have multiple interests, so you can create as many TipCollections as you want.
How Do I Create a TipCollection?
You can create a TipCollection two ways. On the home page you will see the “Add A TipCollection” button on the left navigation. Click that button to create a new TipCollection.
You can also create a new TipCollection by going to your Tipster Profile page and clicking the “Add A TipCollection” button.

What does "following" mean?
When you follow someone, you can see any tips that they have posted.
How can I follow other Tipsters?
When looking at a tip from a person that you wish to follow, click on the name. This will take you to their Tipster profile. You will then see the “Follow” button under their activity.

The TM Top 10 are the current ‘Best Of’ on TipMine.com. The editors at TipMine.com choose the TM Top 20 to provide you the top quality tips in each category and overall.
What makes a tip popular?
The popularity of tips is based off how many Tipsters have “liked” that particular tip. To increase your tips popularity you can share your tips with your friends and connections.
How can I share my TipCollections?
You can share your TipCollection via Facebook and Twitter. On your Tipster profile page all of your TipCollections are displayed. Pick the TipCollection you wish to share and at the bottom click on the Facebook or Twitter icon to share it.
Can I make my TipCollections private?
You can make any or all of your TipCollections private. When creating a TipCollection, check the box next to ‘Private?’ to make that specific TipCollection only visible to you.
Can I add my contact information or my website to a tip?
Absolutely! We encourage you to include your website and contact information in your Tipster profile bio
Do I need to include my bio with every tip I add?
When you add a tip, you can either check the ‘Include Bio’ box to include your bio in your tip.
How do I delete a tip from my TipCollection?
Click ‘edit’ on the TipCollection that contains the tip you wish to delete. Then find the tip and click ‘delete’.
