One of my favorite aspects of Paris is how easy it is to escape the city noise and commotion without ever actually leaving the city. Below is a list of my favorite parks.
Jardin du Palais Royale - centrally located in the city, this jardin is perfect for people watching while still being surrounded by beautiful vegetation and tucked away from masses of tourists
Parc Monceau - have a picnic, play soccer or simply sunbath on one of this park's many lawns
Parc des Batignolles - play petanique with the old local men, read a book by the small lake or feed one of the many birds that take shelter here
Bois de Bologne / Bois de Vincennes - for those who really want some solitude or exercise; ride a bike, go hiking or stroll one of these wood's walking paths
