Always Flour Your Bacon


Wise words from my one-helluva-cook cook grandmother. Bacon is full of fatty breakfast deliciousness, but it’s also a splattering, curling, obnoxious-to-cook mess. And seriously, who wants to buy that pre-cooked, pre-packaged stuff? Yuck. The solution: fill a bowl with flour and coat each piece of bacon before you toss it into the frying pan. The flour keeps the bacon flat in the pan and prevents curling and splattering. Bonus: the bacon comes out extra crispy.
