Are You a "Regular" at a Coffee Shop or Bar? Here's a Tip...

You may have a favorite spot to grab coffee in the morning, or perhaps a hangout that you grab a beer or sandwich at after work. You know the employees, they know you. You're a regular!

Let those people and that establishment know that you appreciate them. If you know the employees by name, make sure to thank them and greet them using their name. They will appreciate it. Drop a dollar in the tip bucket. It goes a long way. Establish a good report.

One thing I do is save a little bit of money and go in around the holidays. Tip everyone in the place. Give them ten bucks, or twenty if you can. They will love you, and you will probably get it all back in free stuff anyway. It makes a big difference for the employees, and other people will see you do it and feel compelled to act more gracious about the service as well.

Trust me. I like free coffee. Or cakepops or whatever.
