I absolutely hated my job. It was about 3 steps backwards on the corporate ladder but I needed to find something when my husband and I relocated. When I went to my hairdresser I spilled the whole story over the course of an hour. About what I used to do, what I think I’m capable of, how I was being treated at my new job, etc. There was only one other person getting her hair done in the salon and she didn’t even talk to the person doing her hair. After I had spilled my heart out, the quiet lady next to me handed me her card. She told me she was a CEO of her company and would love to have someone like me on board. After about a month I called her and my career and life changed for the better!
