Camouflaging Razor Burn Bumps

Those annoying red bumps that often show up after shaving or waxing can be painful and embarrassing, and can last for more than a week. If you can’t wait that long to head to the beach or wear a new dress, there is a way to minimize their appearance—apple cider vinegar and antibacterial ointment.

The night before you need to minimize the bumps, gently rub them with an exfoliating brush to get rid of any dead skin. Use a cotton ball to apply apple cider vinegar over the entire area-it should not be painful, although it will tingle. After it dries, pat the area with a damp towel if the vinegar smell bothers you. Then coat the bumps with an antibacterial ointment, like Neosporin. Repeat the next morning, and enjoy the day with minimal redness and swelling from your razor burn.

Keep using the exfoliating brush and vinegar daily for two weeks, and after that use the exfoliating brush 3 times/week, and you should stay completely bump free!
