Now, I don't know about you but I am completely useless when my hands are cold - I'm talking locked out my apartment because I can't unlock the door useless. As cold as it is in the morning it is just not the time for gloves yet - maybe I'm too vulnerable to cold but I'm also too self conscious to throw on winter gear just yet. What I tend to do is skip the coffee I have at home in the morning and buy one on the way to work. Holding the coffee in my hands keeps them warm and whenever I take a drink it instantly warms me up. Yes, it's temporary but who can commute for that long.
