If you're planning your dream wedding, chances are the bill has thrown a real taste of reality at you. It's easy to cut back on items you may not need in order to free up room for others:
1. iPod - If you're having an outdoor wedding or small reception, why not skip the band or dj and use an iPod for your music? Create a playlist ahead of time and hit play. Done!
2. Everyone's a Photographer - Everyone has a smartphone and they're going to be taking pictures all wedding long. There's no need for a professional photographer after the wedding. Ask people to bring digital camera and send you the pictures they captured.
3. Inexpensive Invitations - You don't need to go to a store and print out professional Save the Date's, Invitations, and Thank You's. Instead, order them online at Snapfish or a similar site. Or, save even more and create digital cards and email them.
4..DIY Often - DIY as much as possible. Do you grow flowers? Use them and buy less. Do you need to buy centerpieces or can you easily craft them? Maybe your bridal party can even help with DIY decor. Find opportunities to save throughout the entire process.
