When doing any kind of writing -- especially the kind with a required page count -- resist the urge to add content for the sake of adding length to your story, article or paper. The people reading what you wrote would rather read a shorter, more interesting story than extra pages that meet the length requirement but, let's fact it, are boring, unnecessary and probably read like total babble. If you truly can't meet the length requirement but are close to it, stop where you are and make sure your writing is the best it can possibly be.
