One of the best tips I have for undergraduates and graduates is to make an online portfolio. An online portfolio is a pretty simple thing to create. You can use many different only platforms to make one. Some of these include blogs, free webpage/website sites, Youtube, etc.
Putting things like: projects, photos, videos, documents, graphics, and a host of other sample items in an online portfolio is beneficial. By having an online portfolio, a future employee can simply pull up your work samples via a link. It makes it easier for you to present your work samples instead of lugging around a physical portfolio. This way all you you have to remember is a URL.
