Driving tips: The Freeway (or whatever you call it)

I hate the freeway, but since I moved from a small city in Mississippi to a large one in Alabama, the freeway/interstate/highway/whateveryoucallit is sometimes the fastest way to get somewhere.

Alone, the freeway is fine, but unless it is 3 o'clock in the morning you'll have to deal with a bunch of other drivers (some who are incompetent, distracted, or selfish) you have to drive for yourself and everybody else as well.

Two tips here:

1. When merging, make sure you've gotten up to speed on the ramp, and make sure you turn your signal on to alert those who are already on the freeway. Merging onto the freeway is easily the worst part.

2. Don't drive with the pack. Drive the actual speed limit (most people around you probably will go faster) and they'll pass you. You won't have to worry about all the crazy that goes on in those packs then.
