When you blow a fuse in a home that's less than 100 years old, all you have to do is flip a switch on the circuit breaker. Typically, a home builder or apartment landlord will label the fuse switches so you can easily reset them. Sometimes, they're not labeled at all. If the switches are not labeled, here are two ways to figure out which one to flip:
1) Look at the fuse switches -- they should all be pointing in the same direction except one. Flip the one that's facing in the opposite direction.
2) Hook a CD player or radio up to the plug outlet that's not working. Turn it on. Flip each switch until the radio turns on.
