If you have small children it can be a good idea to have a fireworks party at home. When taking them to a big event, they tend to be packed and your kids may not be able to see very well. Also, organized displays can start very late which can lead to your kids becoming too tired to enjoy the displays. It’s best to get the family around, serve some hot chocolate and do your own fireworks. As well, it gets dark early in November meaning you could have your bonfire night party at 6 o'clock. Remember, never let your kids go anywhere near the fireworks and always keep an eye on them.
