Lots of people think that once their meat dish is cooked (like a Thanksgiving turkey) there is nothing else to worry about as far as food-borne illness goes. Not true! Did you know that contaminants on vegetables and fruits cause more food-borne illness every year than all other foods combined? Keep an eye on your hot veggie dishes (we're looking at you, green bean casserole) and make sure that none of the leftovers sit at room temperature for more than 2 hours.
