When you're traveling, there are a lot of opportunities to lose things or realize you forgot to pack something crucial. From umbrellas to phone chargers, it's always something. Instead of purchasing new items, ask the front desk at your hotel if they have a lost and found box. Many times, the things you lost are items other people have misplaced, too. Hotels always seem to have an ample supply of phone, computer and MP3 chargers that people have left behind. Ask for one of these -- at the very least, they will almost always let you borrow whatever you need.
