A magical way to have young, stubborn children eat their recommended daily serving of veggies is to make a puree. It may take a few minutes to prepare, but throw some broccoli and carrots into the food processor and voila! If it doesn't necessarily look like vegetables, children won't associate it with something they don't like and will probably give it a try. Adding spices helps as well.
