I have a problem with people who talk about glass ceilings for women as an excuse for not achieving. One of the most important things I do is avoid blaming my gender for hurdles that are present. The mindset of a disadvantaged person is very bad. I never became fearful when people said, “You cannot do that.” In my opinion, being female is an advantage in business because we can bring a different perspective.
