You spend a lot of time at work. It is often tempting to hire someone who is great in an interview and on paper but I am a believer that you must also want to work with them—your gut must tell you this. IF for some reason you are not 100% looking forward to working with them, then you may want to consider NOT hiring them. Our instincts and gut feel are great indicators—and there is nothing worse than when things get tough and you are also working with people you don’t enjoy being around. The more you like working with your coworkers the more productive you will be.
