You know those expensive drinking glasses you're scared of using? The ones you don't want to spoil? Well luckily you can still use them and keep them in tip top condition by following these rules:
Always wash glasses by hand. Any washing up liquid is suitable but make sure the glasses are in a plastic bowl to avoid them breaking against the hard sink.
After your glasses are clean leave them to dry upside down on a tea towel or if you're really a perfectionist dry them with a lint free cloth to avoid any streaks.
