Cooking homemade Indian food is always a fun experiment, but sometimes that curry flavor can be so overpowering! If you accidentally add too much spicy curry or masala to a dish, you can counteract the flavors without ruining the whole meal. Add a teaspoon of lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, and keep adding (and tasting every time you add) until the dish gets back to the level of spiciness you're looking for.
