Here he gives you advice on how to start a career in welding: "Apply at a suitable college to do Level 2 Welding as an NVQ. If not, you could try to do a City and Guilds course at Level 2 because that is also important. Also, it really helps if you apply to a training company because they can help find you an apprenticeship, Apprentices are usually employed at the beginning of the year and again in summer so sending your CV to lots of welding companies or just contacting them will increase your chances."
