The new 'non-diet diet' craze of the moment is all about intermittent fasting. Don't be put off by the word 'fasting', this diet is pretty simple and is used for health reasons. Research shows it can even make you live longer, the weight loss is just a pleasant side-effect. The diet consists of eating sensibly 5 days a week but not depriving yourself, if you fancy a biscuit have one just don't go crazy and have the whole packet. The fasting comes in for only 2 days of the week where you eat 500 calories. This may seem like very little but can be achieved easily if you're smart about it.
