When you're looking to paint a room more than one color, always check the base color of the paints you're going to be using. Lots of paints use white as a base, but there are different kinds of whites -- yellow-white, blue-white, etc. If all of your paint colors have the same base color, they will be more likely to perfectly complement one another.
