There are opportunities out there and it is up to each individual to find them.
Look in the mirror and ask yourself what you can do better and never wallow in self-pity. I believe that the best thing you can do when facing adversity is to take an aerial view of the situation. You need to see all the landscape around, otherwise you can get caught up and swallowed by the narrow boxes of your world. In a difficult moment, I close my eyes and try to think of the absolute worse thing that could happen and try to feel all the pain. When I am finished with that, I do not fear it as I did before. I believe experience, even if it is imaginary, is always the best teacher.
