Chose a reputable sponsor group, a compatible home country, and a student with good grades and you'll have a terrific year with your exchange student. Just don't make the mistake of trying to repeat a great experience by going for another kid the next year. You will find it tedious, not fresh and exciting, and you will be putting kid#2 in the position of trying to live up to kid#1. Do it once, do it right and enjoy the life long friendships you make.
