Buying foundation makeup is tricky. A shade can look great at the drugstore, but at home it looks completely different (I blame the fluorescent lighting at stores). The best way to figure out which foundation is right for you without trying it on is to hold it up next to your skin -- namely, the inside of your wrist and your jawline. The inside of your wrist, with its visible veins, will tell you which type of shade is right for you (warm, neutral, cool). Once you establish this, see which foundation matches your jawline the best. This color will blend with the rest of your face.
