Polish your fingernails after you put the kids in the car seat!

I found that when I had small children it was almost impossible to polish my fingernails without needing to do something for one of my children immediately after. So I found that when I was going somewhere it was so much easier to put the kids in their car seats then polish my nails. They would be dry by the time I got to my destination!
