Pre-Run Snack


As a collegiate runner and nursing student I am constantly learning what I can put in my body to make it the most efficient and healthy. Before running, eat 1 banana sliced up with natural honey.  The banana has potassium to keep you from cramping and the honey is the best form of sugar for your body to naturally process.  So once you start running the sugar from the honey goes straight to your muscles.  And it is pretty tasty.
