As any recent graduate will tell you: college teaches you a lot but it doesn't teach you how to actually get a job (which is the whole point of going to college, right?).
Take advantage of the career tools on campus such as the career center. Get a resume created. Reach out to professional organizations in the community, and make sure you network with professors, fellow students, and other interests. Plan to have an internship during your college career and maybe one after.
You'll want to get started on doing this in your freshman year. Don't wait until you're a junior (or a SENIOR!) to start doing this.
