Microwaving leftover pizza is terrible -- it gets soggy and tastes absolutely nothing like the hot, awesomely crispy takeout pizza you started with. Here are my two favorite ways to reheat pizza perfectly.
1. Take two slices of pizza. Layer them so the crust is facing outwards on both sides (basically you're making an ingredient sandwich). Put the pizza into a panini press and press until the crust is crispy and the ingredients are hot and melted. Eat the pizza like a sandwich. Best thing ever.
2. If you don't have a panini press, you can still get crispy reheated pizza. Put the pizza on a medium-heat skillet or frying pan with a little cooking spray and cook until the crust is crispy and the cheese melts.
