When you drop a makeup container on the floor, the contents usually shatter into a bunch of small, powdery pieces; your first reaction is to toss it in the trash. Before you go scrapping your quality powders, try fixing them. In its original container, grind the broken powder pieces to a fine dust. Pour enough rubbing alcohol into the container to turn the powder into a runny paste, then spread it around until it evenly coats the container. Leave the lid off and let the paste dry overnight. The alcohol will gel the powder back together and then completely evaporate, leaving the original powder re-formed in its container.
