There's nothing more disappointing with the coming of spring than finding the first stinkbug to begin patrolling your windowsill. Worse is when you smack it as you would any other bug, only to find your nostrils greeted by noxious fumes.
It turns out that those fumes send out a message and draw more stinkbugs to your windowsill: it's vicious.
So try a new method: The shot glass and note card trick. The shot glass is the perfect size to contain the little creatures, as well as any defense-mechanism stink they may release, and the note card is sturdy enough to not give way to bug or fumes as they struggle to escape. From there you can flush or let free into the backyard.
