1. Wear tennis shoes or some other comfortable shoe on campus during the week. This many seem obvious but sandals make your feet feel awful when you are walking miles a day to class and activities!
2. Get a good backpack. Forget trying to be stylish with a purse. When you are on campus all day you will quickly realize that you want something practical to carry your textbooks, laptop, etc.
3. Hit the gym. Not only will this help you keep off the freshman fifteen, but it will also be a stress reliever that keeps you sane after those all-nighters at the library!
4. Have honest talks with your roommate(s) and floormates. Tell them your pet peeves and habits and hear theirs. Nothing is more awkward than being really annoyed with someone and not knowing them well enough to tell them!
