Toffee Bars 1 stick butter 1 stick margarine 1/2 cup sugar 40-50 graham cracker pieces (break each large graham into the 4 small pieces to get the 40-50 pieces) 1/2 to 3/4 cup finely chopped pecans 6 cubes (12 oz) almond bar, chocolate flavored coating Put crackers on cookie sheet as close as possible. Melt and boil butter, margarine and sugar for exactly 3 minutes. Pour over crackers, spread evenly. Sprinkle nuts on top. Bake at 325 degrees for 12 minutes. Immediately remove crackers from cookie sheet with a spatula on to another cookie sheet. Microwave chocolate for 1 minute on high and stir. Microwave 1 minute more. (No more than 2 minutes) With a teaspoon, drop melted chocolate on each cracker and smooth out. Refrigerate until chocolate hardens. Eat & enjoy!
