Aluminum foil is useful in the kitchen, but there are some uses for it that you might not have considered. Here are two to put into good use right away:
1) Polish Chrome: Gently buff chrome surfaces with aluminum foil and water to bring back the awesome shine.
2) Silverware Cleaner: This works if you actually own silverware that's truly sterling silver. It's expensive, it gets tarnished, it's kind of annoying -- but it's really easy to clean with this trick! Line a pan with aluminum foil. Pour in hot water, a dash of salt, and a teaspoon of baking soda. Lay your silverware in the pan, making sure the silverware is touching the aluminum foil and is covered in the water solution. Wait 5-15 minutes, depending on how grossly tarnished your silverware is. Remove the silverware, rinse with cool water, and gently buff with a cotton cloth.
