READ THE PACKAGE. Even if you're not on a diet, read the labels! If you can't pronounce more than one of the ingredients, you might not want to eat it. Also be on the lookout for MSG (monosodium-glutenate) -- it's a flavor-enhancer mostly used in dry dip mixes and soup mixes. You might think it's fine, but lots of people have a minor allergic reaction to it (headache, dry mouth, nausea), so if you cook something for company, you run the risk of making them slightly sick. Stick to natural, whole ingredients -- they taste better anyway! Kim's favorite charity is The Humane Society. Find Kim on Twitter at twitter.com/kimmietrubiro
