One of the most important rules of gardening is to plant the right plant in the right place. If you have plants in your garden that really aren't thriving, try moving them to a different spot next season. Maybe they aren't getting the right amount of sunlight, or the drainage isn't ideal in the spot they are in. This is a bad time of year to try to move a plant but take a picture of the plant to keep in your gardening file so you remember to move it later in the fall or early next spring.
