While dealing with the loss of my brother, my counselor had suggested that I write him a letter telling him anything that I wish I had told him before he passed away. This is a great way to say what you want to say and getting it out of you, even if it is not the same as telling them in person. Another useful coping tip is to go to their grave and say what you want to say there. Don't worry about feeling silly. Once you get going you may find yourself unable to stop talking.
