How to Make a High-Efficiency Toilet out of ANY Toilet

Your "normal" toilet can flush and run properly on considerably less water than you're running through it. You can displace some of this water to make your toilet fill more efficiently, thus reducing your water use and your utility bills.

Simply place a full 20-ounce bottle of water, or a regular-sized brick, into your toilet tank. The water displacement will trick your toilet into thinking the tank is full with less water.
