Despite what the many manuals, job preparation websites, and forum boards many say, one of the best tips to use when interviewing for a job is being yourself. It might sound pretty simple, but interviewers are accustomed to interviewing the same old robotic potentials. However, if you approach an interview by not only being professionally prepared but as your own individualized self, you will stand out.
Add a element of realness to your interview. Do not get me wrong. Do not go overboard, but show your own special uniqueness. Not only are interviewers looking for a person who can do the best job, but they are also looking for a real person, not a interviewee from "interviews 101."
So, go in with a level head. Be yourself and show the interviewer why you will be the best candidate for the job in your own way.
